Biography

1930 - , London. Gillian Ayres studied at Camberwell School of Art and later taught at Winchester School of Art. As a leading figure of the 'School of London' she has always commanded respect for her single mindedness and individualistic work. After teaching at Winchester she moved to Wales and now lives in Cornwall.
